According to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) definition, “Mentor Coaching consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.”
The mentoring process has to be performed through a minimum of 3 (three) months as per ICFs requirements so that the coach can reflect and practice while being mentored and, on the other hand, the Mentor Coach can have enough time to carefully listen to the recorded sessions and provide helpful feedback towards the coach’s improvement and development.
As a Mentor coach, he will help you improve and develop yourself as a coach to achieve and demonstrate the level of coaching competencies and skills required for the ACC, PCC, or MCC credential level.
Pedro and you will use an online platform (i.e., Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams) to work together wherever you are in the world;
10 mentoring sessions in total throughout a 3 (three) months period (as required by ICF). Each session last 1 (one) hour.
In each debrief session, you and he will use tools and techniques, powerful questions, insights, and tips to help you improve and develop yourself as a coach.
Recorded coaching sessions review to analyze and identify your areas of development as a coach, working on them through our mentoring sessions.
You will have email support in case you need help or have any doubts. After all, both of you are a team; therefore, your success is also his success.

Even after the last session, he will be there for you just in case you might need him; and he wants to know about your success – if for any reason any recording won’t be a ‘pass,’ Pedro Pinto and you will continue to work together at no cost to you.
